Re: FN-FORUM Customising IE via code ?

have a nosy around the M$ site, a friend developed something similar just
over a year back using activex. if you use java you can even get it to work
on netscape, but be warned after about 5 minutes of cooing over it we
decided it was shit and guaranteed to annoy the hell out of people and
decided going to the pub was a much better idea.

Subject: FN-FORUM Customising IE via code ?
Hi guys,
Has anyone ever done this/know how to do this ? ?
Create a script that will disable (and re-enable) the scripting functions in
IE ---> TOOLS -> Internet options -> Security -> Custom level ->Scripting.
I am wondering if this is possible via ASP like the 'add to favorites'
buttons, I guess that what I need would probably have to be developed as a
little exe to be run locally ?
Any thoughts would be good.
Thanks,
Rog.
