Have you set the permissions to scripts only on the site?

Im at a loss. I just created a test site in IIS called chat. Its a virtual
dir pointing to a diff drive. All I have in there is a file called
"hello.asp" which contains

thats it.. Nothing else.. But when i try and run it
http://machine11/chat/hi.asp I get the dreaded error 500 message. Anyone
out there have any ideas on whats wrong

Restarted the services, mhtl pages work fine.. just the asp stuff.
