Wouldn't surprise me as there are lots of ex-pat Scots there and Canadians
tend to be more Scottish than the Scots (you know the type - insist on
wearing a kilt while shopping, eat haggis every day even if they don't like
it and punctuate their speech with "Och aye"). I was in Toronto once and
was told by a guy I met at the baseball that I wasn't Scottish enough!
