RE: FN-FORUM High speed, reliable Internet connection

I guess I pay 150 a quarter for ADSL, but it's *SO* much faster and you can
still use the line for voice calls if you want, even when you're connected.

Hi Norman,

That's worth knowing - thanks!
As for the price comparison - I've been using flat-rate surftime for a while
now so it's really just a case of getting the upgrade in speed, versus the
additional costs.
Hmm, this is a good thought exercise. I'm currently paying about £180 quid a
quarter for ISDN (this includes surftime and ~£70 quid free phone calls a
quarter), £20 quid a month to Demon for their surftime product, and £6.99
quid a month to Clara. So all in, that's about £90 quid a month.
The question then is, what do two business phone lines cost per month? If I
pay Demon about £40 quid a month for their ADSL product, I've got about 50
quid a month to spend on two phone lines to make it up to the same cost. The
question is, what does a business phone line cost these days per quarter?
If anyone is especially knowledgeable on this subject, or even just good at
maths - I'd appreciate your thoughts!
Cheers,
