Hi Carla
Congrats, are you going to become a paid up member? If there are several
local chapters to you it might well be worth visiting a few of them to see
if any contain other companies which you're likely to create a good synergy
with (ie design firms/IT support firms (two we've done most business with
through our chapter)), rather then who you can do business with straight
away.
Most local chapters do have their sites done by the chapter website
designers. There are some guidelines as to appearance, corporate colours
etc, but unfortunatly not a lot in the way of quality control. We've
already approached the central office about a number of issues (including
the revamp of the main BNI Europe website, which apparantly is "in hand"),
but they've yet to get back to us about them.
