a bit of sniffing around will get you a copy of premiere 5.5 for
substantially less than the price of a mac, and if its a one-off i see
no
real issue with using a fully working 30 day trial version for the cost
of a
download.
i know the new macs come with a built in digital video editing suite,
but
quite frankly it seems a little nonsensicle to me to buy a whole new
system
just for one client! can you imagine the outcry of mac users if i
suggested
they go buy a pc for something? i'd be accused of being the bastard son
of
bill gates!
Q:how do you spot a mac user?
A: when you ask them what system they use you get a 4 hour lecture
instead
of a simple 'apple mac'
:P
