ive integrated several worldpay pages

you dont need SSL at your end but it would make life easier if u did.
If u dont then you need to upload your header and footer to their area plus
images (one at a time i might add)

i dont think you can intercept customer details but you can pass thru your
own hidden constants by calling them M_xxxx.

i find worldpay technical helpline quite good if u need further help

their cut 2.3% is also a bit on high side and yes they really check you out
b4 you become a client
