You're right! Keywords are becoming obsolete. Can't remember which, but I
think only one SE looks for them now, so they're really not worth bothering
about!!

The description and title must be relevant to the page. Also use headings
with relevant keywords in them, and the important text and links at the top
of the page.

AltaVista might notice it, Google won't. Most SEs don't read the keywords
meta tag anymore, or if they do, they don't give it any more weight than the
body text. Ian can probably confirm or otherwise, but I heard a rumour that
a keywords meta tag that didn't match your body text was worth than nothing.
