I don't have this problem but i think that if you save it in quotes like so:
"myFile.php"
it saves it as
myFile.php

i'm a bit tit-up with the way windows saves unrecognized file types.
everytime i use notepad and want to save file types such as .php they end up
in .php.txt. how can i get rid of this hassle?
