On paid submissions is still the traditional looksmart criteria -- basically
no porn sites, no hate sites, no racist sites, decent quality. Paying to be
listed doesn't guarantee a listing in the directory, it's just a promise
that your site will be reviewed within the time specified (5-7 days I
think). Unless they've changed it, once you make it into the UK directory,
you're included in the US one (or 'the world' as listed on the .co.uk site).
I do remember finding a site that *was* a C++ info site but somehow turned
into a porn site... LookSmartians running around desperately trying to get
the link removed from directories world-wide. Quite a day...
