I was watching this with interest and the details asked for by Kathy are
relevant, I wouldn't think there are many on this list who would deal with a
company where there were
a. no web site
b. no refs
c. no co. registration number or company background available
d. (!) no name on the bottom of the e-mail (!) though we know who you are

Most freelancers have been stung in the past and are protective of their
business, their time and their code/designs. No one is asking that you give
away your client's name or break confidentiality clauses - we are all
professionals here (despite the banter) and we do a good job for above-board
clients which I am sure you are.

I'd like to point out that in a design oriented business a portfolio, either
online or in a zipped up bag counts for a lot - without mine I would not get
any work, which is why you were asked about yours.
