When you install Dreamweaver doesn't it instal MDAC 2.5 (??)
If you go wo micro$oft and download the latest version (2.7) is
available from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm installing
this may help - also try re-installing any service packs if your on a
NT, 2K box.
