Ah, but, the trick is doing it without PPC. We run many campaigns and rarely
require the use of PPC to gain results, we did use it once for immediate
impact and then dropped it when our optimised rankings came up to meet the
PPC ones ;)
If you are in a top competitive market place then aim at the more obscure
words / phrases and save yourself a mint and many headaches, unless of
course you are on a branding / market awareness exercise

It mostly depends on what and keyphrases, and how they guarantee your
exclusivity. Personally, we'd offer a lot more for a lot less. We could
manage a PPC campaign to give top listings for dozens of keyphrases across
over 25 search engines - INCLUDING research of which phrases will generate
how much traffic, where the competition is, etc. - for less money.

If you'd like to go into more detail, maybe we should discuss this off-list?
