Is there any restriction on swapping between the two, does anyone know ..?

I'm about to get de-registered for no reason other than i'm NOT using cash
accounting,
so when someone is late paying i have to find the vat myself.

(i'm waiting for £8.5k, which is probably more VAT than my monthly bills !)

It's annoying because i'm hopefully going to buy a laptop soon,
which why i got (voluntarily) reg'd in the first place
