From reading the shopfitter.com FAQ they appear to charge 30p per =
transaction for part of the transaction (i.e. taking the order and =
credit card details and storing them for you to access them later). You =
will still need to find a merchant account to take the order. If you are =
likely to do less than 300 transactions a year online this may be a =
decent deal (the cheapest SSL certificate I know of is $99 a year) and =
most of secure transaction places charge roughly the same.
Depending on the software it may be a decent deal but I find all the =
none integrated solutions (including both netbanx and worldpay) where =
you redirect the customer from your site to theirs rather lacking in =
certain security areas.

Dear All,
=20
This email is aimed at Andrew Wilson who posted something about =
Shopfitter.com earlier today, but others may be able to help me.

Do they just take the credit-card details, encrypt them and then =
allow you to decrypt them, or do they pay them into your account for =
you? If they just allow you to decrypt them, I suppose you have to get a =
credit-card machine from the bank to process them. Is this correct? How =
do they charge the 30p then?
=20
Sorry if I am making a prat out of myself, or if these questions are =
obvious to you, but this is the first dealings with selling stuff on the =
internet I have had.
=20
Thanks!
Liam Martin
