RE: FN-FORUM Rights of a site
date posted 1st March 2002 10:26
Hello there,
I seem to remember reading an article in the law section of Internet
Works magazine last year which seemed to state that intellectual propert
of the code and database structure remains with the developer - however
the content and front end branding along with the "content" of the
database tends to stay with the client.
Again all this depends on what is stated in the contract... IWKS does
not have much of an online archive but they do have this
http://www.iwks.com/hands_on/legal_copyright.asp page which may help.
Cheers
Andrew
