Re: FN-FORUM Nice roll over effect

for IE and poss. mozilla you could use css with a javascript setInterval or
setTimeout - IE handles various graphic effects (you can find them in
dreamweaver and webmonkey has something on them) and by altering the values
of a fade via javascript you should be able to emulate it.

Subject: FN-FORUM Nice roll over effect
Hi all
I happened across quite a nice roll over effect at http://www.pmail.com/.
It's the largest menu on the page, and basically the mouse off state fades
back into the original colour. I know how they've done it (an animated gif
as the 'off' state), but I wondered if anyone had seen anything similar, but
using DHTML rather then images?
Norman
