Personally I would look at either Sony, Dell or Compaq machines.

Hi All,

A school customer of mine has asked me to do some research on laptops.

The require 9 laptops for the science dept.. nothing too fantastic, although
there are some specifics

* All interfaces have to be built in (CDROM / FDD) - nothing externally
attached.
* Built in Modem AND Network card.
* Pre-installed with Windows 98 and AV software.

thats about it really - I have some prices, but if anyone is able to offer
me this, please drop me a message offlist and I'll add your info to the pot
for discussion. Could you also send me details of your terms if u send the
info
