Registering a Domain Name

I wish to get a .co.uk domain name for myself, for a new site I am going to
build to market my services. I have only used free web space for my personal
sites before (mainly btinternet) and so can anyone offer any advice on what
I should expect to pay for 1/2 years and any links to hosting/url
registering companies that are worth looking at.

I will not need a great amount of space for the site, maybe max 10Mb. I will
require emails to be sent to the address I register, ie.
[EMAIL REMOVED] and also access to a webtomail cgi script.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
