Of course it's possbile that in their 'infinite' wisdom, your ISP has
simply decided to disable all website logging in their company policy
meetings. In which case, even if you walk them through it, they'll still
declare it can't be done... ;o)

In internet services manager go to the site you wish to modify, right
click and choose properties.

On the web site tab click properties in the log file section.

Choose the extended properties tab.

Check the referrer box and apply.

That's it!

If they are an ISP they can set this on the "default web site" setup and
all new sites will have this config.

You'll need stat report software that does reverse look-ups as IIS only
caches the IP address.
