Hi Martin

Er, um, in my humble opinion, you make your own luck. "The harder I
work, the luckier I get....." (or "The smarter I work ...."

It was gratifying to see the response from one fellow freelancer (Andrew
Wilson, if my memory serves me correctly?) who mentioned having
succeeded in this game for 31 years. Congratulations, say I, to someone
who has a positive attitude and the willingness to adapt and learn.

You may have to kiss a few frogs before you find the princess, but the
opportunity is there for any freelancer who is enthusiastic,
hard-working and innovative enough to make it work. If you decide to go
for it, I wish you every success.
