Hi Ade,

My advertising is limited to adult business newsletters and websites now. I
have developed quite a few contacts this way but also have found a few of my
best clients by word of mouth. I gather a good number of adult business
sorts of folks go to the huge conventions in North America every year. I
have never been yet...some day perhaps....

However, one of my clients has used a site I designed as a showcase at one
of these shows. People see it and then ask for referral details.
Fortunately, this client is someone I have known for the last 25 years and
he is always polite enough to ask if I am interested in more business at the
time. He also tends to vet out the creepy peeps for me....although much of
my work never involves a face-to-face meeting with the client, he often
tells them of my high standards for my work.

Always makes me laugh when the money for a job arrives before I have even
discussed the project with the prospective client...I know my buddy has been
working the shows for me
