Yes, I forgot to mention the Internet connection. I currently have the W98
machine connected with a blueyonder (nightmare) cable modem. I don't fancy
buying a dedicated machine just for the firewall/router. Are you saying
that if I had the XP machine connected to the cable modem instead, then I
could manage without any extra hardware/software beyond what's needed for
networking the 4 machines to the hub?
