Re: FN-FORUM Networking PCs & sharing peripherals

1. A hub, a NIC in each machine (PC card for laptop) and a standard Cat5 or
Cat6 patch cable between each machine and the hub, or a wireless access
point and compatible PC and PCI cards for the machines.
2. A 4-port KVM switch--lots around--Belkin are cheapest, don't buy a cheap
manual switch from a computer fair, it's not going to work properly. Or just
get something like VNC (free) which allows you to control/log on to one
machine from another--like terminal services.
Just search for home networking on a search engine and you'll find loads of
resources.
