to make a living in the industry. Your point below about future expansion is
however a valid and interesting one, as were your comments on the
configurability of Linux.
But... I still couldn't seriously recommend a total novice, about to buy her
first computer, that a Linux/opensource route was preferable to Win/Mac.
Maybe you could, but I bet you'd spend plenty time as unpaid tech support
;-)
