Re: FN-FORUM Grapic font question

Im not sure what application you're using, but its fairly simple in
Photoshop. Just have the image you want for the fill on one layer and the
text on another, then hold down ALT and place your mouse over the 2 layers
in the layer menu (you will see a little black symbol appear) - then click.
Dan
Note: the image layer needs to be above the text layer.

Subject: FN-FORUM Grapic font question
Thanks for previous advice about my box graphic. Paul White is helping me on
that off-forum.
Another graphics problem... I used to know how to do this in paint Shop Pro,
but I've forgotten, but it can give some really great effects, like flaming
text.
Can anyone tell me how to use a mask or something to use the background of a
font as the font?
In other words, I want to be able to type out words on a background, and
then make the background show through the font, and copy that as the text,
whilst getting rid of all the rest of the background...
Thanks in advance.
