At some exchanges bandwidth is, pretty much, swamped (that's the impression I get from the forums at ADSLguide and ISPreview, anyway). Get 10 (assuming a 10-1 contention ratio, it's often a lot worse...

you got an NTSC signnal, playing on a PAL tv, change the settings in the software for PAL use a scart connector and make sure your TV / monitor supports RGB not just compostite in (phono) cheers...
