Yup, I use Postfix under Linux, but qmail and exim are also good choices
from a security P-o-V, IMHO.
One thing I have noticed with Postfix (at least the version I'm currently
running - and on my puny celeron 500) is that if the spool files get large
(oh 60MB or so) then it can time out whilst writing new messages and bounce
them.
I would hope this is tweakable, or fixed in later versions, or fixable by
running a sensibly spec'ed machine, but really it teaches me that I should
manage my mail spools better. ;-]
