Hmm... installed this update last week on two machines with no problems
at all, so I suspect it might be your 6 install clashing somehow,

I installed this earlier and am having a nightmare with it... I'm
getting random crashes (especially when using or playing with blending
modes and the pen tool)... the release version was more stable for me
:-( some large PSDs (the 60-70mb ones) i created in 6 crash alot as
well....forcing me to go back and use version 6, which is slower but
doesn't crash...
maybe if i uninstall 6 it will all go away? any thoughts? it's not a
great problem as i'm not really using many features specific to 7,
although the pin-light blending mode is very useful...
hmmm
