Raw delay is about .25s, the rest on Sky digital and the
like is MPEG decompression in the receiver.
I'd expect roughly 550-600ms round trip on a 'local'
network like that of the actual ISP or any other site
on the same upstream provider's net. Not a gamer's
dream, but not a problem for pretty much any other
application.
