A "basic 8-10 pages with the usual..." for a relative, to get some
experience - realistically you're not going to get much more than £500
(unless he's loaded) although if it was a proper commercial deal you'd be
charging more, depending on the functionality. As for updates, you can
either go with an hourly charge, or set up a Monthly contract, which allows
the client x hours of your time, for £y - this time to be used for
text/graphic updates, or SEO/submission, visitor monitoring/reporting etc
etc.

was the most recent site - they come bundled in an exe file, but it has been
tested and is safe!
