RE: FN-FORUM Site Check please.

Yes, the menubars are intentionally hidden behind the face. I guess I've
become somewhat less than objective about the menus. I spent a fair bit of
time making them cross-browser compatible, to the extent that I lost track
of the fact that they are not obviously menus! I might well use the
mouseOver cursor change, or might even make them pop-out when the mouseOver
fires and drop them back when it exits, or might even animate them when the
page loads so that they all pop-out and back, like a little mexican wave of
organ drawbars!
I really wanted to feature the face idea, as it has been part of the
branding of my TASER product for about a year now.
thanks for your comments,
Dave.

When the home page first loads up the menu bars appear only to then be
obliterated by the face! The cursor doesn't change on mouseover of the
menu bars which makes it unclear as to whether they actually do anything
until you click - I would at least change the cursor on mouseover in
order to make this a lot clearer! Didn't have time to really check
anything else other than the first glance that showed the above. IE6,
WinXPPro, ADSL connection.

Hi Guys,
OK.. time to take the plunge. Can I have a site check of
my company website, please.
http://www.da-media.co.uk/
I'm having problems with Opera compatibility and can't get the menu bars
to pop-out when clicked.. seems to work in all other recent browsers.
Please bare in mind that I'm a coder not a designer!! All criticism
welcomed... as long as it's constructive ;o) BTW, it is an ongoing
project... still some 'tarting-up' to do via some extra CSS.
thanks,
Dave.
P.S. Yes, I've sent the message again, as I forgot to set a meaningful
subject on the last one.. DOH!
