A language that has evolved but is true to, and in touch with, its roots is
eminently preferable to three at the back and wingbacks who can either not
tackle or not cross. I don't think it works for England and it certainly
doesn't for the toon. Meanwhile Scotland again plumbed the depths of
international football as they scraped a draw against the Faroe Islands
today....
