Attracting traffic to your site

Seeing yet another thread on search engines reminded me of an interesting
article on this subject:

This article says that many search egines give a low priority to meta tags
because they are so misused. It suggests that more importance is given to
the page title and the first two lines, with page content also a relevant
factor.

thinking about search engines.
