RE: FN-FORUM Search Engine Specialists ?
date posted 10th September 2002 17:51
There are arguments for and against appearing in the Marketing Sherpa guide
David, I chose not to even put us forward for the guide as it could be used
by the search engines to identify and penalise search engine optimisation
companies.
All the best
Ian

No personal experience of them, but...

They do appear in the Marketing Shepa guide to the UK SEO industry (a good
thing), but score a D minus.
I also notice they use Ghost pages as their main method of achieving
results - I normally think it's best to optimise the site itself wherever
possible, otherwise, if & when you take your business elsewhere, you may
have nothing to show for it (and, of course, it's a risky way to proceed).
I wouldn't diss a company I know nothing about, though - they may well be
nice people to do business with. This just happens to be all the
information I had to hand.
Hope that helps
