I use:

www.xperiencewebhosting.co.uk - v. cheap, fast reliable servers with php,
mysql etc. good email help. No phone help to speak of.
www.donhost.com - similar setup to above, more expensive but v. good
telephone help.
www.jumpline.com - not cheap, but v good setup, very reliable and superb
email support - my first query was anwered in 1 minute!
