The _01 business is merely the number of the slice. You can change those
settings by clicking 'Custom' on the drop-down at the bottom of the
'Save for Web' window where it says 'Default Settings'

Hmmm... Fireworks is great for basic web design stuff, but truly useless

Get Fireworks - right click on slice and click "export slice" I don't
get all the fuss about the bloatware that is Photoshop - Fireworks on PC
and Gimp on linux does the job for me.

perform some sort of satanical ritual which results in odd numbers appearing on

File > Save for web > *choose your settings* > click save > in the save box
check that
all slices appears in the slices box. You can optimise individual slices
differently
in the save for web screen....

can't be submitted using a mailto: as the action. You need to use a CGI

Depends on the top level registrar - try netsol -
www.networksolutions.com - what's the domain? Do a whois and find out
who hold the record. If it was done in the uk a lot of ISP's are using

No, but I have dropped it in a glass of orange juice. Just clean it out with
clean tap water (or surgical spirit) to remove any sediment from bath soaps
and then leave it to dry, doesn't take long to...
