Know a good accountant?

Hi gang!

Is there anyone out there who uses the services of a decent Accountant in
the Medway Towns area of Kent (I'm near Gillingham). I'm currently using a
firm up in Dartford who for their money just calculate my income tax from
the records I give them and I currently get charged about £500! Other people
I've spoken to say they only get charged £100 or so for that sort of thing,
others say they get charged more

I basically want to sit down with someone, discuss all available options
when it comes to actually saving tax and maximising profit (something my
current crowd have never done) and not be overcharged for the privilege.

If any of you out there have any leads, they would be appreciated greatly.
