Lose the music, that'll make it a little closer to perfect.

Subject: FN-FORUM Looping Web Audio
Morning people
I'm having a spot of bother with a file on my website and I wonder if anyone
can help me out. On my home page (www.dhalfpenny.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk) I
have an audio loop which plays once it's loaded. It's an MP3 file converted
using itunes from an 8-bit AIFF file originally generated in Roland VSC on a
Mac (I'm sure that's more information than you need!!!)
Problem is, it plays once, then there is a half-second or so pause and then
it starts again. Round and round it goes in that fashion. I've tried various
types of file compression and bit rate but they all do the same thing.
Playing and looping the file from my hard drive in the normal way produces a
perfect result so it appears to be a problem in the way the sound is
embedded in the page (not a real expert in this field so a bit of help would
be great)
What do you think?
regards in advance
Dazzer!
