Re: FN-FORUM junior forum suggestion

date posted 29th September 2002 15:08

I used to be a small offset machine manager. I wish I could turn the clock
back. OK, I only did machine minding (and a bit of plate making and
compositing sometimes), not finishing, but it was a much nicer work
environment than anything in IT. Crazy person!

since I left school (without any A levels or even Cs)Nine years of print
finishing, running a machine taking orders but all the time drawing and
designing in my spare time.

for Bloomberg and was earning well.We used to work together in the print, so

on all the coding stuff and database thingies I just want to design but I
cant find a position for this.

talented in technical areas and so need help(which the forum
provides)sometimes without harsh comments.Spliting the forum means that tho!
se already in it can if they wish also join the newbies to help and as some
have mentioned ,learn a little themself.Others who enjoy mocking at their
humour level can opt out.I know for a fact that their are many newbies and
juniors here who dont "post" but might given that they where in the same
boat as the rest.

just joined,The option.

will put back in what I have gained.
