Advice on going it aloneHi Beth,
Starting freelancing after three months unemployment will not be easy as =
your resources are already down. I would suggest getting in touch with =
a few recruitment agencies (Yes, I know, horrid people BUT they will get =
you paid on time) and get a nice little contract under your belt first =
to build up some dosh in the bank. You need to get moeny in before you =
can really consider freelancing - I started from cold years ago and it =
almost killed me...:-)
Have a chat with a friendly accountant about the accounts side. It will =
cost you a little monry but is worth it to get someonme else to deal =
with this crap on your behalf.
Definitely get a URL running - it's your calling card.
