Actually, you'll find I class most "hard science" degrees as pretty relevant
for a career in computing. Some of the best computing types I've come across
have been former physicists, biologists and chemists. Rigorous application
of scientific method to problem solving and all that. And familiarity with
non-trivial amounts of maths never hurts either.
