RE: FN-FORUM OT? what TV?
date posted 29th September 2002 20:26
Check out http://www.hifibitz.co.uk - I bought a widescreen TV from them
at the beginning of the year and it was about the best price I could
find - had a bit of a problem with post-sales support (wrong bits
delivered etc) but this was very quickly resolved when I complained to
their M.D. - it was sorted by the next day! It always helps to have a
look round the likes of Currys / Comet etc to spec up what you may want
and do the 'touchy/feely' stuff - then once you know what you want get
the prices off someone like hifibitz!

Subject: FN-FORUM OT? what TV?
Hi
I need a new TV :o( it's the latest in a long line of home appliances
to quit working (How I hate built -in obsolescence!)
so, while I'm at it, might as well go digital (Sky?) and add a DVD
player, new VCR and Cinema sound system to the list.
Anyone want to recommend a system, or a web site that will guide me to a
good all round selection of products that won't break the bank.
What have you got?
Cheers
Tony
