No, I'm not putting anyone off the idea, just being realistic. If you've
been unemployed for two or three months then your financial resources are
probably already stretched and your credit ards may be already in extensive
use. You still have mortgage/rent, council tax, bills, food, whatever to
pay. Even if you get a job tomorrow and complete within a week, if the
client takes 30 days to pay you'll be waiting another month to get paid.
There is no point in soemone going freelance if they're financialy ill
prepared.
