FN-FORUM Freelance Resources

Hi all :)

I am new to Freelancers.net and this list. I am setting myself up as a
freelance web/graphics designer and am surprised to see the traffic on this
list. I operate out of Spain and would be interested to know if any of you
klnow about more resources like the great Freelancers.net in Europe.

I speak English, German, Freanch, Spanish and Dutch fluently and want to
explore all opportunities. I found many many freelance resources and work
exchanges in and for the US, a couple for the UK, but otherwise nothing.
Where do Freelancers and businesses in need meet up?

Any resources for any European country and more in the UK would be much
appreciated.

Also I guess that it will be hard to land any contracts with a UK based
company if I operate out of Spain, even tho I have clients in Germany, US,
and in our business it doesn't really matter at all where you are, I believe
national feelings and proximity still play a role...any experiences and tips
on this?
