Resizing Images

Hello everyone

I'm working on webpage with thumbnails in it which are originally
exported from Autocad.
The images are like almost the size of a 15inch monitor (800x600 or
something).
After clicking a thumbnail (width = 150 px) , the user is being
redirected to another page which displays the image at it's original
size

In the code for the thumbnails, I've only put the width to 300 px and
left the height open because not all original images have the same size.

The problem is that thumbnails are resized but not resampled which
results in poor quality of the images.

I'm using ASP to upload those images, so the option to upload a small
resized and resampled image + an upload of the original image is a bit
of uselles thing.
Any ideas someone?
