The weather comes from weatheronline.com so I guess it's pretty reliable
and up to date.

I tried gif and the background image doesn't work too well (looks a bit
blocky) because the shadows/shading doesn't' work too well. Not wishing

a standard dialup it takes around 1 to 2 mins for the movie to load...its
not really a movie, more like a collection of stills, and blurry at that.
