background in div

Darren, Tony and the rest of you css experts...
I have a background image centred in a content div - works fine in IE but in
Moz it centers to the browser window, rather than the div. If you comment
out the div it disappears, so is definitely is in the div...
Is this some inheritance thing I've overlooked, or a css bug, any ideas? Can
post the code to anyone willing to look, but it's not online, still in early
dev stage.
