Yea I second that. I was coding simple Basic programs via terminal link
to the PDP-11 at Hatfield Polytechnic at the age of 7 and basic assembly
code by 10. None of this point and click bullshit that this kid has
supposedly mastered,

I was hacking around with BASIC when I was 8/9 and on Z80 machine code

about 12. That wasn't terribly uncommon during the 80s, it's only kids

who haven't known the pleasure of programming "from the ground up". ;-)
