Actually, Ive 'unsubscribed' twice today and am still receiving
messages.

I'm not an AOL user (thankfully), used non-HTML messages, and even
received confirmation that my command was completed successfully by the
mailing list software.

Maybe there is some kind of delay between the unsubscribing and the
cessation of messages received. Im going to leave it until tomorrow
before looking into it any further.
